Borough of SUSSEX vesus Privatization

This letter speaks for itself.

To the Editor

I have read commentary for the two worst council people that I have ever heard or ever seen, who are asking to limit commentary of the concerned public, while one of the councilman-Lagattuta sounds like a shill for a water company that has been thrown out of number of states. Like a snake oil salesman, Lagattuta handles the heavy lifting, and gives you the company pitch. Lagattuta hates your public water company, and notes public water does not work. He has mentioned NYC, but he fails to note that its tap water has won national taste tests.

Lagattuta and Krynicki want to put a limit on the citizens of Sussex Borough on their right to know and essentially to argue against bringing in a water company that should not be let into a barn; let alone giving this company an open door to a water company that has damaged goods in many states. The NJ Branch CEO, who has been in Sussex for meetings, and who lives in Vineland-close to Philly- missed a negative story on a CBS affiliate, about his company in Pennsylvania, which involved frackng!

Why? Because he is a politician, and not a management guru. He claims to know nothing of his company outside of NJ, which would not be the strategy of Tom Peters or a Peter Drucker, nor would MBA students, and graduates buy that logic! Can I sell you a bridge? If you believe his dish; you are in trouble, and you will lose your greatst asset- Lake Rutherford..

When I hear the town council duo listed above; I think of Abbott and Costello's line on 'Who is on first.' I ask where is the money going, and why put the water system up for sale when the issue is the sewage system. The public will only be allowed 5 minutes to speak, while Lagattuta, Krknicki, coupled with their "" dog and pony show", and with the gleaming duo of Nicholas Asselta and John Hildabrant- being in suits always from Aqua-you are in trouble, if you let them dazzle you with a line of baloney!

Residents, there are alternatives like the USDA grants to repair pipes and dams. Why are you selling your major asset to a water company that is not ranked high by the Better Business Bureau in a number of states? Water is not the problem and it will go down, but the sewer system is and will be higher, unless you have greater oversight by one of the decent Councilwomen -Linda Masson-, as your real issue is the taxation without representation now in control by the County System know as SCUMA.

I hope that you make the right decision, as I see a future for your town, but you must also, realize that some change is in order- vote for Al Decker, and former Mayor - Kathy Little.
