THE DILEMMA OF UNDERFUNDED LOCAL CANDIDATES

Before you run there are soooooo many to help you, but when you run they disappear.  Many of them have excuses like, "Well you would not win anyway".  That of course is really an admission that they are toooooo fucking lazy, and find it hard to get of their ass.  Not only  that egos get in the way.  The main thing is most people vote not issues, but party.  They still have yet to learn that parties do not change anything, but keep the ship sailing straight for the iceberg.

So here are the works of a hard working man, Bill Weightman that the Sussex County Democratic Party gave little if any assistance.  They seem to forget that in a county with 3.5 republicans for every democrat that it takes door to door canvassing, leafleting at stores, phone calls, motor pools, etc.

So here are Bill's comments.

The defeat of Democrats around the country was their tie to Wall Street! We have Republicans for that! We have forgotten, who we stand for: the struggling middle class and all those below that deserve a break! Dems are not to stand with stockholders, but workers in a society where jobs are off shored and stockholders reap dividends!
In my case, I was alone from the start! I ran a campaign largely on my dollars and donations from a precious few! I had people with limited skill...s and limited values degrading me! I thank those that supported me, but the Democratic Party here and everywhere needs to change! In an economy, which is a joke everywhere, stop looking for a job in the party, and argue for economic change! It is time to regain Reagan Dems, fight for public education, look at foreclosure and wages! It is embarrassing that Republicans asked the Democratic Party why they did not support me! As I was working by myself and with my wife; I had more votes than the two Dem Congressional candidates combined! The strategy of not supporting local candidates must cease with Jerks in Trenton and here! I am proud that I beat a Freeholder, who knocked me in a piece in the Herald on Sussex Borough and I am glad that I helped knock off a Councilwoman in Sussex along with a corrupt water company! I salute the local Republicans that won, and pray they care more for their community than gain! I know that many care!
In Washington, this is the time for the President and Republicans to work together! I would bring some Republicans into the Cabinet, and as titular head of the Democratic Party end the over reliance on Wall Street! I ran the best campaign with meager resources, and a party some 35 years in need of change, including the mean, median, and modal age of the Party! Time to focus on local offices and build a party- not a joke in a diner with people drinking coffee! Only Republicans will realize how hard I worked! I hope to be a part of creating something new- not a party of the few representing few! Harsh? Hell, no!
