Coronavirus outbreak: B.C. government takes "unprecedented steps" with new orders on COVID-19 plan

The B.C. government is banning the secondary resale of food, medical supplies, personal protective equipment, and other essential supplies as its next steps under the provincial state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic. Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth made the announcement at a news conference on Thursday. The province is establishing a new unit to co-ordinate goods and services distribution by land, air, marine and rail.
