Rachel Maddow calls this tactic "Burying the lead." While it seems that the entire corporate media was beating the dead horse named "The Reverend Wright Story," you were being distracted from actual important news (read: lawbreaking by the Bush Administration - again).

You know those embedded Pentagon surrogates who appeared in the media before the invasion of Iraq? Well, it turns out that not only was that unethical, there is a LAW AGAINST IT (read more here).

ACTION ITEM: Please contact your representatives in the House and Senate and tell them you want an investigation into pressing criminal charges against Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Cheney, and George W. Bush for this illegal maneuver known as "covert propaganda."
