Iran’s Ayatollah Tires of US Infiltration, Forbids Further Negotiations
Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader says that negotiating with the US has “no advantages.”
Khamenei said that despite the best efforts of the Iranian negotiating team during talks on its nuclear program, the US “took any chance to infiltrate.”
The Iranian side was vigilant, but they gained chances and acted against our national interests.”
Last month Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani described the nuclear agreement reached with the 5+1 groups of countries as “a very difficult agreement, it had a lot of complexities,” but said that in his opinion Iran would benefit.
In the interview with US CBS News, Rouhani was also asked about the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s references to the US as ‘the great Satan,’ and explained that translation from Persian into English missed the nuance of the phrase.
