Obama's Apology Was It An Apology or In Your Face?

About 30 years ago I was working with the installer and putting in an RO water purification system in Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York City.  This RO was to feed the seven water polishers that were also being installed in  a large laboratory renovation. We were approached by the liaison between the construction company and the union.  He was with the mob.

Vito (for want of a better name) dressed in a $2000.00 suit, he empathically said in a very crude form of English, "Hey, use guys union?"  The installer answered "No, we are installing equipment that your union electricians, and plumbers will connect.  Do you have a problem with that?"  Vito responded "Yes, I do!"  The installer then pulled out an authorization paper that would give the full responsibility to him.  All he had to do was sign it.  Vito took one look at it, and said that it was okay for us to finish the installation.

Now what does this have to do with Obama and Kunduz?  Well we later spoke to the contractor who informed us that Vito was notorious for making trouble for those contractors that do not use union labor.  He mentioned that a contractor took a job in Brooklyn, and employed non-union labor.  Vito had already warned him.  Well before the embers were cold at the contractors site, Vito called him to tell him how sorry he was to hear of his problems.  That was not to offer sympathy, but was in your face.

So would this NPD President who enjoys revenge really offer an apology or was it in your face.  Remember Doctors Without Borders was vehemently against the TPP.  My guess is it was IN YOUR FACE.
