64% Dutch Say ‘No’ to EU-Ukraine Association, Preliminary Results Show

Over 60 percent of Dutch voters said "no" in the public referendum on the EU-Ukraine association deal, the national ANP news agency reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The turnout is estimated at 32 percent, with a 3-percent margin of error, according to an exit poll commissioned to French pollster Ipsos by Dutch broadcaster NOS.

According to ANP, 64 percent voted against the EU-Ukraine agreement on political and economic partnership on Wednesday, while 36 percent voted for.
The referendum is not binding and the Dutch parliament has already ratified the arrangement.
The referendum turnout has to be over 30 percent in order for the vote to have legal weight.
