The Ukrainian Army has continued its provocations on the contact line in Donbass, shelling several cities and villages on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR)

On the morning of November 8, the Ukrainian side continued its provocations on the contact line in the suburbs of Gorlovka city, located on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russkaya Vesna information website reported, citing acting mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko.

According to the mayor, a residential house is burning in the village of Zaytsevo.
“Zaytsevo, this morning. Mirnaya street. A battle is ongoing. A house is burning out,” Prikhodko commented on a video, showing impacts of the Ukrainian provocation.
The Ukrainian Army’s shelling destroyed residential houses in the village. Information about victims is being specified.
Meanwhile, the DAN news agency reported, citing a source in the DPR power structures, that last evening and night, Ukrainian soldiers fired 350 artillery shells and mines on the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk and southern villages of the republic.

“From 18:00 pm to 1:00 am, the Ukrainian side shelled the villages of Trudovskoy and Staromykhailovka in the west of Donetsk, the neighborhood of the Volvo-Center in the north of the capital, the territory of the industrial zone near Yasinovataya, the outskirts of Dokuchaevsk, the villages of Leninskoye and Sahanka in Novoazovskiy area in the south of the country,” the source said.
“Three hundred fifty 122 and 152mm artillery shells, as well as 82 and 120 mm mines were fired on these settlements.”
The source also added that along with heavy armament and mortar-guns, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also used weapons of infantry combat vehicles, grenade guns and light weapons.
