On this day in 1981 newly elected President Ronald Reagan was shot.

Or was he?

A little known fact: A bullet wound was never found.

So what really happened?

Likely, two shooters. The patsy who did real damage to real people and and second one who missed the mark with a high tech weapon.

 Blogger's note:  In the spring of 1978 I was informed by an executive vice president of alarge Fortune 500 company as to who would be the next President, and who would be the Vice-President.  I laughed as Reagan and Bush hated each other.  Not only that he told me their entire policies for their first four years.   He then told me that he had just come from a meeting of the "movers and shakers of this country".  Later I found out that Reagan was told on the floor of the Republican convention that unless he took Bush as his VP that he would not get the nomination.
