HAITI HELL: State of Emergency and Curfew Extended
HAITI HELL: State of Emergency and Curfew Extended – Looted Port Is Shut, Prompting Fears of Famine – American Citizens in the Country Have No Way of Escaping
by Paul Serran
Haiti is adrift, with a missing-in-action Prime Minister and anarchy in the streets, where ‘the people with the guns’ rule.
The heavily armed gang-rebels have been staging attacks that paralyzed the capital of Port-au-Prince.
They have burned police stations, shot up the main international airport, and raided Haiti’s two biggest prisons, freeing almost 5,000 inmates.
So yesterday (7), whatever is left of Haiti’s government extended the state of emergency and nighttime curfew.

Desperate residents are looting businesses and robbing people at gunpoint, Maui locals say
Desperate residents are looting businesses and robbing people at gunpoint, Maui locals say

Desperate survivors of the Lahaina, Hawaii fires are looting and robbing people at gunpoint as they wait for food and shelter in the aftermath of the Maui wildfires, Hawaiian locals said.
"There's some police presence. There's some small military presence, but at night people are being robbed at gunpoint," co-owner of a Lāhainā bar called The Dirty Monkey, Matt Robb, told Business Insider.
Robb added: "People are raped and pillaged. I mean, they're going through houses — and then by day it's hunky-dory. So where is the support? I don't think our government and our leaders, at this point, know how to handle this or what to do."
Media outlets reached out to the County of Maui for information about the alleged looting but did not hear back by time of publication.
Residents spoke to local news outlets as they await rescue crews to deliver food, water, diapers, and other necessities, many who lost everything are growing desperate.
Owner of restaurant Coconut Caboose Jeremy Aganos, one of the businesses that survived the fires, told KITV it is "utter chaos" for those seeking aid. His business was attacked by looters, he said.
Aganos set up a GoFundMe for the restaurant's losses.

Chicago Public Schools’ radical agenda gets uglier
Chicago Public Schools’ radical agenda gets uglier: ‘Equity’ video promotes looting and burning – Wirepoints
By: Matt Rosenberg
Looting and burning is a pathway to social justice. That’s the message from a video recently added by Chicago Public Schools to its website as a response to perceived economic injustice for blacks. The district calls the video an “equity tool,” but the reality is it promotes hopelessness. Titled “How Can We Win?,” the video’s message is clear: there is no way. Better to riot, loot, and burn. It sounds unbelievable, but in Chicago’s schools, it’s not.
Some CPS students have difficult lives. Too many face the possibility of violent crime and gang harassment, and loss of friends and family.
Schools, and CPS in particular, are meant to be places of hope and growth, where learning can be a ticket to a better life. CPS leadership and teachers are meant to push kids beyond where they are, to help them read and do math and to think and to succeed. There’s no question that’s a challenging objective. But there must be optimism, high expectations, and possibility running through it all.
Instead, with this video CPS is promoting a fatalistic, nihilistic message to kids. There is no hope in its message.
