The
letter, which runs more than five pages, repeats many of the statements
Trump has previously made railing against the impeachment proceedings.
Trump in the letter accuses Pelosi of violating the oath of office and
"declaring open war on American Democracy."
The
House is expected to vote on two articles of impeachment Wednesday
accusing the president of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
The vote could be pushed to Thursday if the debate on the House floor
lasts late into the night.
