
Videos: Tear Gas Deployed by Washington, DC, Police Amid Black Lives Matter Protests
Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) have met local demonstrators in the Washington, DC, area with tear gas and other crowd-control weapons amid protests in connection with the electric scooter crash death of a 20-year-old.
Demonstrations began Tuesday evening around the MPD's 4th District Station, where a window was broken.
