New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) plans to impose vaccine mandates in the state, but won’t announce that until AFTER next week’s reelection, his senior campaign adviser admitted.

Murphy’s campaign senior adviser Wendy Martinez made the shocking admission to Project Veritas Action Fund in undercover video released on Monday.

“He [Murphy] is going to do it [COVID vaccine mandate], but he couldn’t do it before the elections. Because of the independents and the undecided,” Martinez said.

Project Veritas journalist: “The independents and the undecided would not vote for him if he did the mandates…”

“They [independents and undecideds] are all into all the sh*t. My rights, my sh*t — and they don’t care if they kill everybody,” Martinez responded.

Murphy “will [implement COVID vaccine mandate], but right now is about him winning. It will be fine,” she added.

Matthew Urquijo, Manager of New Jersey Forward, which works closely with the Murphy campaign, made a similar admission to Project Veritas.

“The problem is right now — because it’s election season – he [Governor Murphy] is not going to have people [in the campaign] say like, ‘We’re gonna have a [COVID vaccine] mandate now,'” Urquijo said.

“Because, you know, for some people that’s going to piss them off. I think once, you know, we have a win, he’s like, ‘Alright, guns blazing, like, who cares, I’m in it. Let’s do the mandates, let’s do this, X, Y, and Z.'”

Project Veritas journalist: “So, you think if he [Murphy] talks about mandates for [COVID] vaccines now, he won’t get elected because it’s a lot of push back?”

“Not that he won’t [get elected], but I think there are some people that, you know, might push back,” Urquijo replied.

The New Jersey gubernatorial election takes places next week on November 2, 2021. Murphy faces off against Republican opponent Jack Ciattarelli, Green nominee Madelyn Hoffman, Libertarian nominee Gregg Mele, and Socialist Workers Party nominee Joanne Kuniansky.
