WEF declares war on private car use

WEF declares war on private car use

In November 2022 there were over 1.45 billion cars in the world - and the trend is rising. By 2050 it should only be 500 million.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has followed suit with regard to private car use. A document released in May , jointly released with credit card issuer VISA, calls for a drastic reduction in cars by 2050.

"The Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility" advocates for more "shared, electric, connected and automated (SEAM) modes of transport and a shift to more compact cities" to increase the number of cars worldwide to 500 million by 2050 reduce and drastically reduce carbon emissions.

According to carsMetric, there were over 1.45 billion cars in the world as of November 2022. The WEF expects that number to increase to 2.1 billion by 2050. A reduction to 500 million cars would mean a reduction of more than 75 percent.

The World Economic Forum has already conducted a trial with its Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool . Buenos Aires in Argentina, Curridabat in Costa Rica and Singapore were selected as test cities. The governments worked together with actors from the private sector.

Cities shared their perspectives and challenges in delivering sustainable mobility, provided detailed feedback on the assessments used in the scorecard tool, and highlighted areas where cities need to increase their ambition to "tackle key issues of sustainable mobility head-on". announces the WEF.

The aim is to curb private car traffic and to promote public transport, bicycles and shared mobility services.

In the usual globalist style, the WEF announces:

«No city and no company can achieve this vision alone. Through strong public-private collaboration, we can find innovative, impactful and contextual mobility solutions to enable a sustainable future for cities.”

The WEF document, based on the usual falsified climate change data and dishonest models, ignores the looming population decline many are warning of, LifeSiteNews criticized .

It is obvious that the unelected elites of the WEF and other globalist organizations are not only trying to replace gas-powered cars with electric cars, but are trying to radically reduce private car ownership in general.

Journalist Tim Hinchliffe, editor of The Sociable , pointed out that the Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool reinforces the WEF's prediction that by 2030, "we will have nothing and be happy".
