Welcome to this week’s Trends Journal: "I WILL KILL ITALIAN GOYIM CELENTE! HE IS A WARRIOR FOR THE PRINCE OF PEACE."
Not all people or threats are created equal.
Gerald Celente, this magazine’s publisher, and founder of Occupy Peace and The Universal Church of Freedom, Peace and Justice, received a death threat a week ago from a man irate that he criticized Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk for saying “the times of peace are over.”
Celente, a warrior for the Prince of
Peace, took issue with the comment during a live broadcast, prompting an
unhinged man to call The Trends Journal’s New
York office several times, screaming at a staffer who answered the
phone... saying "I will kill Celente." The individual followed up with
two emails to Celente, mocking his Italian heritage, calling him a
faggot and threatening that he would “skin him and wear his face.”
“I will kill you,” the email read.
Celente wasted no time consulting with
lawyers and was directed to alert the appropriate authorities. He was,
at first, encouraged that the response from the New York State Police
and the FBI would be swift given that he is a public media figure with a
substantial social media following.
Instead, the FBI rushed him off the phone when he reported the incident
and turned it over to the New York State Troopers. He waited five days
for them to send a Keystone cop to his offices in Kingston, N.Y., and
the Trooper said it could take possibly a month or so before any action
is taken.
Celente's investigators believe the threat is linked to a Jewish man in Florida.
“Any one condemning Israel's genocide and their murderous war is
attacked by the mainstream media and politicians as being an anti-Semite
and anti-Jewish. But being anti-Italian doesn't count, Celente
noted. “If a Jew threatens to kill "a goyim Italian" who preaches peace,
that's fine with the FBI and the District Attorney.
Celente said it is obvious that the U.S. has a two-tiered legal system,
all threats are not approached with the same seriousness from law
enforcement... and all men are not created equal.
“Imagine if it was the other way around and I was a high-profile rabbi
who received a death threat by an Italian in Florida,” he said. “There
would be a news conference and politicians would be lining up to offer
support. I’m not saying that’s wrong, but why are the threats against me
treated differently? Now I know what it must be like to be an Arab
living in Israel.”
Celente has been clear in his position since the start of the Israel
War. He is completely opposed to the Hamas attack, but Israel’s brutal
response has only made a terrible situation much worse. And there is no
political will in the U.S. to bring an end to the ethnic cleansing in
Gaza.
As for the death threat, Celente said, “I want him to face the law and I want him to be arrested.”
