Another battalion of foreign contractors has been dispatched to Belarus to destabilize the country ahead of the election, President Aleksandr Lukashenko said. Last week, 33 suspected mercenaries were arrested in Minsk.

The detained men, whom the Belarusian KGB identified as members of the Wagner Group, a shady company providing mercenary services and operating out of Russia, “have told everything,” Lukashenko stated in a video address to the nation.
“They’ve decided to use the technologies of the ‘color revolution’ in Belarus, but it’s not going to work out,” he said.
The arrest of the mercenaries is “a very dangerous and strong signal,” the president said. The fact they had tickets to Istanbul on them was just a cover-up, as going to Turkey through Belarus made no sense, he insisted.
“Those people – they testified – were sent to Belarus on purpose. Their order was to wait.” According to Lukashenko, an attempt “to organize a massacre in central Minsk” was clearly their intention.
“Today we received information about another group [of mercenaries], deployed in the south” of the country, Lukashenko said. “So, we must run around the woods and catch them. We’ll capture them all.” He didn’t specify from which country the militants had arrived.

MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Ukraine’s authorities are inviting foreign mercenaries to take part in the military operation in Donbass as part of Kiev forces, the official spokesman for militias of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic said on Thursday.

Kiev forces deployed 13 tanks and seven infantry fighting vehicles to the contact line near Stanitsa Luganskaya and carried out the rotation of a unit headquartered in the building of a local library, he said.

A commander of the Kievan Rus battalion, Yevgeny Lavrov, also said in an interview with a Ukrainian TV channel that three US and twelve Georgian servicemen have joined his forces, Marochko reminded.

The Lugansk people’s militias have stated many times that Kiev is deploying military equipment and personnel to the contact line in violation of the Minsk peace deal.

The Ukrainian forces have violated the ceasefire regime 46 times over the last 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic defense ministry said on Thursday. The Kiev forces used multiple rocket launchers, artillery, battle tanks, anti-aircraft guns and small arms, the defense ministry said. A lot of settlements and cities of DPR came under fire were.
Kiev uses foreign mercenaries against the DPR, DPR Defence Ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin said on Thursday. Basurin noted that among them were “Croats, Poles, Lithuanians, Norwegians, Danes and even Germans” who are fighting with the Ukrainian forces against the Donetsk and Luhansk republics. Foreign mercenaries are particularly numerous in the Mariupol area.
Four civilians were killed and over 70 injured in a massive attack by the militants on several districts of the city of Aleppo in Syria. Clashes between government forces and terrorists in western Aleppo also left five militants dead. Aleppo is now divided between government forces that largely control the west of the city and the militants that have a strong presence in the east.

Israeli forces have detained 550 Palestinians, including women and children, in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of 2015. The detainees, who were arrested in the southern city of al-Khalil, included seven women and 105 teenagers, Amjad Najjar, the head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society in al-Khalil, said on Thursday. We remember, over 7,000 Palestinians are reportedly incarcerated in 17 Israeli prisons and detention camps.
