Kremlin Confirms Information on Syrian Army Taking Control of Manbij

Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan brushed off the report
on Manbij passing under the Syrian government's control as a
"psychological operation", saying that "there is nothing definite yet".
Kremlin
spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Saturday the information that the Syrian

On Friday, the Syrian Arab Army announced its troops had entered the

Kremlin Comments on Turkey's Summons of Russian Ambassador Over Syria
The Kremlin's spokesman has revealed how the summoning of Russia's envoy to Turkey might influence the Syrian peace settlement.
Commenting
on the recent summoning of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, Kremlin
spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "The process of implementing agreements
on de-escalation zones [in Syria] and the process of political
settlement, in particular, the preparation of the National Congress
in Sochi, require constant contacts [with Turkey] at various levels —
on the expert level, at the highest level, on others as well. These
contacts are being maintained, and, of course, such a close dialogue
will continue."
The Kremlin has warned the US it is ‘one step from war’ over Syria – but the Trump administration hit back by saying it would be prepared to carry out airstrikes again.
In the first direct American raid on Bashar al Assad’s forces, President Trump authorised the firing of 59 cruise missiles at a military airfield.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev denounced the US for attacking ‘the legitimate government of Syria’ and for allegedly breaking international law without the approval of the UN.
Mr Medvedev said: ‘This military action is a clear indication of the US president’s extreme dependency on the views of the Washington establishment, the one that the new president strongly criticised in his inauguration speech.’
‘Soon after his victory, I noted that everything would depend on how soon Trump’s election promises would be broken by the existing power machine. It took only two and a half months.
’The last remaining election fog has lifted. Instead of an overworked statement about a joint fight against the biggest enemy, ISIS, the Trump administration proved that it will fiercely fight the legitimate Syrian government’.
But the US President warned he would do it again after unleashing a surprise attack on the Syrian regime with a massive show of firepower.
Moscow will focus on “Plan A” in accordance to the agreement signed between the United States and Russia on the cessation of hostilities in Syria and is not looking at “Plan B,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier, Kerry announced steps that would be made toward a backup plan that could include the division of Syria if the ceasefire planned for February 27 did not work or if an actual swing to a transient government does not happen within the next few months.
"Currently, we are focusing on ‘Plan A’ and believe that the discussion and work for the realization of the plan that was agreed by the presidents of the two countries [US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin] should be our priority," Peskov told journalists in response to a question regarding US Secretary of State John Kerry’s announcement concerning a backup plan should the cessation of hostilities agreement fall apart at the seams.
On Monday, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced an agreement on cessation of hostilities between the Syrian government of President Bashar Assad and the armed opposition factions had been reached. The agreement will come into force on February 27.
Russia and the United States are using their influence and potential to bring sides with opposing views on the Syrian settlement closer, he added.
"These are talks between the two countries that could really contribute to a settlement… In this case, Russia and the United States are using their influence, their potential to bring parties with diametrically opposed views on settlement closer," Peskov told reporters.
"Once again, I remind you that in his address, Putin said that Russia intends to work closely with Damascus, Syria's legitimate authorities, but expects that US partners will use their influence on the groups they support," he noted.
The Ukrainian president's decision to reclaim Donetsk Airport, a key strategic point in the conflict in the country's east, are in violation of the Minsk peace deal, says the Kremlin. Petro Poroshenko vowed on Monday to take the airport back: "I have no doubt - we will free the airport, because it is our land. And we will rebuild the airport." He also promised to erect a monument to the "cyborgs," which has become a common nickname for the Ukrainian soldiers that fought against the forces of the self-proclaimed eastern republics for control of Donetsk Airport.
Poroshenko spoke at the premier of the documentary "Airport", which was dedicated to the siege.
When asked if he thinks such words violate the Minsk peace deal, the Russian president's press secretary said they do: "Of course, they are a violation. In fact, we have repeatedly said that Ukraine is not complying with the Minsk agreement."
The US State Secretary John Kerry, when asked by the media about Poroshenko's statements, said he knew nothing about them. He said, though, that he would warn the Ukrainian President against inciting any new hostilities. Kerry spoke at a media briefing following lengthy talks with the Russian President and Foreign Minister.
The Minsk deal is a peace roadmap for Kiev and the self-proclaimed republics in eastern Ukraine. Brokered by Russia, Germany and France, it was signed in the Belarusian capital in February. It aims to implement the peace process agreed upon in the September 2014 talks, also in Minsk. Since February's agreement was signed, the violence in the East has reduced, but both Kiev and the secessionists blame each other for violating the truce regularly.
As part of the Minsk deal, the sides agreed to move heavy weapons away from a demarcation line drawn across eastern Ukraine. The self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic says this leaves the airport in its territory. Its representative to Minsk Denis Pushilin says Poroshenko's vow to reclaim the airport is a call to arms: "This is a direct violation of the Minsk agreements and a call to military action. Donetsk Airport has been one of the hottest flashpoints in the conflict in eastern Ukraine for about eight months. In January, Kiev admitted its forces completely surrendered the airport.
During the lengthy siege the airport was reduced to rubble. The casualty count is impossible to verify, with the two sides giving vastly different numbers, both saying they had lost dozens while claiming the opponent had lost hundreds.
Today we are witnessing the continuation of a soft coup against not only President Trump, but of our Republic. The Democrats must be highly compromised, i.e. lots of skeletons in their closets. The key question for me would have been the following: "Jill, a hand recount of the votes in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania would probably not be completed by the December 19th deadline for the electoral votes. That would deny Trump the necessary votes to be elected President. That seems to be the Hillary strategy to steal the election, so why would the Green Party candidate shill for Hillary's election. There is outrage on the outcome of the Dallas Cowboys versus the Green Bay Packers. Why is their outrage on this total distraction? Fans here belong to one of two tribes that support the circus of the "bread and circus".
It has become a game of less and less interest as commercials, reviews, more reviews, pregame shows of several well paid ex-jocks to tell us what must be done by each team to win. Then after the game the same go over and over the game and why one team won and one lost. The media has more covering a meaningless event than the do covering all of Africa.
It is done to take you mind off the reality of the day. It is the blue pill to keep you from seeing that you are accepting a police state as you are groped and searched when you enter the stadium.
Then there is more money to be made in the betting on the game than in the TV and commercials. So would it be any surprise to you that the games might be fixed? It isn't to me. Have you ever seen the pro football game where one team plays and the other merely shows up? Maybe the team that only showed up knew who the winner would be.
There is also a globalist plan to destroy national sports such as US football, and replace it with soccer. Could this be a step in that direction?
I remember the day well. A Customer Service Representative was promoted to Outside Sales, and he left just before lunch. His new job was to begin on the following Monday. He came back in at about an hour or two later. His face was white as a ghosts. He took a deep breath and said "President Kennedy has been killed."
It was a quiet at the bus stop in Newark that night, and the bus was dead silent. Just like today people are silent on the coup d'etat that happened that day in Dallas. It angers me that people can forget that at that day and time on the 11th month and the 22nd day our country was changed forever, and not for the better.
