Record cold records broken by the thousands between N. America, Australia and Europe over the first weeks and a half on May 2020. Wheat planting is 22% compared to 49% the average in USA. So the question to be asked with the warm spring and now epic May freeze in multiple continents, how do you think this will affect agriculture in 2020?

Trump officials lay groundwork for May reopening
By Brett Samuels and Morgan Chalfant - 04/09/20 03:44 PM EDTThe Trump administration is laying the foundation to push for a reopening of parts of the U.S. economy as early as the beginning of May amid rising pressure over unemployment numbers rivaling those during the Great Depression.
President Trump and top government officials in recent days have talked about seeing “glimmers of hope” and “light at the end of the tunnel” while publicly discussing ideas for how to revive the economy.
The president has floated reopening businesses in parts of the country that do not have outbreaks. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday unveiled guidelines meant to encourage those in critical sectors who have been exposed to the coronavirus but aren’t showing symptoms to continue working.

May and Merkel Fiddle While Their Unions Burn
When it was reported by John Petley of the Bruges Group that
German Chancellor Angela Merkel had, in effect, written the Brexit
withdrawal agreement Theresa May has now twice had turned down by her
parliament it should have come as no shock to anyone closely following
the Brexit drama.
Uncorroborated? Sure. Most likely true. Of course.
The
European Union doesn’t want Brexit to happen. And if it were to happen
it would only be acceptable to them if it looks like the deal Mrs. May
put before the House of Commons twice only to be rebuked by historic
margins.
