President Trump Vows To "End Marxist Crusade" Aimed At Abolishing Suburbs

Four years ago, former President Trump warned suburban Americans that radical leftists within the Biden-Harris administration were pushing policies that could eventually "abolish the suburbs." At the time, far-left corporate media outlets mocked Trump, dismissing his warnings as 'outlandish.'

Here's Trump back in 2020:

New Yorkers Warn Kathy Hochul’s ‘Incomprehensible’ Zoning Plan Will Demolish the Suburbs

New Yorkers Warn Kathy Hochul’s ‘Incomprehensible’ Zoning Plan Will Demolish the Suburbs

Kathy Hochul, governor of New York, during a Hudson Tunnel project event at the West Side Rail Yard in New York, US, on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023. President Biden is taking a victory lap today as officials prepare to begin work on a massive rail plan hard-pressed New York City …

New Yorkers living in the suburbs outside of New York City say Gov. Kathy Hochul’s (D) zoning plan to override local laws would effectively demolish their communities, forcing them to accept hundreds of thousands of new housing units.

After failing to impose the plan last year, Hochul is once again attempting to strip the state’s suburban communities of their zoning autonomy with a plan that would force suburbs to build a percentage of new housing and if they do not comply, the state will take control of their local land use laws.

In an op-ed, Bronxville Mayor Mary Marvin writes that her village of just 6,600 residents would be required by the Hochul plan to build 75 new housing units by the end of 2027. Marvin suggests that the plan would force Bronxville to accept more than 10,000 housing units in the village which is far beyond the community’s existing 2,600 housing units

Philadelphia Could Be Next Recipients Of Busloads Of Illegals

Philadelphia Could Be Next Recipients Of Busloads Of Illegals

While amusing, sending illegals to Philly will probably lower the crime rate. I still think Greg Abbott is missing a huge opportunity in not sending at least a busload or two to Wilmington or Rebohoth Beach, Delaware

Philadelphia braces for possibility migrant buses from Texas will be sent to city

Philadelphia officials are preparing the city to receive busses of migrants from Texas in the event Gov. Greg Abbott targets Philadelphia as the next destination for migrants being bussed to Democrat-led cities.

“The city is inventorying existing resources should those seeking safe refuge find their way to Philadelphia,” Kevin Lessard, a spokesperson for Democratics Mayor Jim Kenney, told Axios.

There has been no confirmation that busses of migrants from Texas will be directed to Philadelphia. Kenney’s office says it does not anticipate any notice if busses are directed to the City of Brotherly Love, Axios reported. Kenney’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on Sunday.

Could this possibly be a fakeout? It’s only about 32 miles between Wilmington and Philly. And just another 93 miles to Rehoboth Beach. A mostly likely route would the buses coming up I-95 at some point, which means they would travel through Wilmington. And, if traveling through D.C., could cut over through Annapolis and take 50 across Chesapeake Bay, then back roads to Rehoboth easy peasy.

‘Sanctuary City’ Chicago Takes Illegals Bused in by Texas, Settles Them in Suburbs

Despite Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) claim that Chicago is a “welcoming sanctuary city,” she is now sending illegals sent by Texas out to the suburbs.

The Windy City began moving towards declaring itself a “sanctuary city” for illegals at least as far back as 2015, and since her election to the mayor’s office in 2019, Lightfoot has reiterated that policy and said that Chicago is a “welcoming” place for illegals.

Regardless, she has blasted Texas Governor Greg Abbott as a “racist” and a “xenophobe” for loading buses with illegals and driving them to self-appointed sanctuary cities including New York City and Chicago.

“This is about a cheap political point. It’s not about sharing the load. To Greg Abbott and his enablers in Texas: with these continued political stunts, (he) has confirmed what many of us had already known: he’s a man without any morals, humanity, or shame,” Lightfoot said early this month.

But now, despite her repeated claims to love illegals, Lightfoot has been found shipping the Texas deliveries to the nearby suburb of Burr Ridge, according to WGN 9 News. And town leaders there are both shocked and angered by the move.

Oops?

Indeed, Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso said that Chicago did not coordinate with them before dropping off dozens of illegals at a Burr Ridge hotel.

“I am concerned neither the village administrator nor I were told about this,” Grasso said. “We want to know: Why Burr Ridge?”

Illegals for thee, not mea.

Biden’s Infrastructure Package Will Federalize Local Zoning Laws, Displace Single-Family Homes In Suburbs

Biden’s Infrastructure Package Will Federalize Local Zoning Laws, Displace Single-Family Homes In Suburbs

This is pure Agenda 21/2030 Agenda policy to eliminate “unsustainable” single-family housing. Since the carrot is withholding of transportation funds, the patently unconstitutional Councils of Governments (COGS) will be used to force compliance. `

We have warned for years about the dangers of soviet regionalization through COGS, and how they strip city/county sovereignty while enforcing Agenda 21 zoning and transportation mandates. ⁃ TN Editor

Democrats plan to federalize local zoning laws within the infrastructure reconciliation package to displace single-family homes with high-rise, low-income apartments to impact the already purple suburbs.

The reconciliation package plans to implement the destruction of the suburbs via a measure within the package called the “HOMES Act,” which attempts put the federal government in charge of local zoning laws to change local demographics, impacting the already purple voting districts.

According to the measure within the transportation package, any local government that does not comply with the federal zoning guidelines, meaning “ordinances that ban apartment buildings from certain residential areas or set a minimum lot size for a single family home,” the Department of House and Urban Development (HUD) will cut off funding to that city – funding any city needs to maintain their current low-income housing.

Additional consequences for cities keeping their local zoning laws in place would be to punish states by prohibiting them from “receiving taxpayer funded transportation grants of any kind if they refuse to allow high-rise apartments throughout their high density zoning in their suburbs.”

States rely on federal transportation money to fix local streets and highways.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge told USA Today in April, “The result of this sort of investment will be critical to increasing housing options for low- and moderate-income families.”

The establishment media seems very much for the radical-left plan, articulating the destruction of local rule as follows:

A house with a white picket fence and a big backyard for a Fourth of July barbecue may be a staple of the American dream, but experts and local politicians say multifamily zoning is key to combating climate change, racial injustice and the nation’s growing affordable housing crisis.

Biden Wants to Obliterate Suburbs With Radical Housing Plan That Restricts Single-Family Homes

Plan would restrict single-family homes in the suburbs in favor of ‘high-density’ development

Kit Daniels | Infowars.com - July 8, 2020

Bad news to those who fled big city unrest for the suburbs: Joe Biden wants to permanently alter suburbs under a new housing program that would restrict single-family homes.
America’s suburbs would end as you know them under the Obama-era Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing regulations that Biden would supercharge if he wins the White House.
We already know what this program under Biden would entail, thanks to a Democratic lawmaker who proposed restricting single-family homes in Virginia by allowing multi-family houses built on the same-sized lots.
“Once Biden starts to enforce AFFH the way Obama’s administration originally meant it to work, it will be as if America’s suburbs had been swallowed up by the cities they surround,” reported National Review’s Stanley Kurtz. “They will lose control of their own zoning and development, they will be pressured into a kind of de facto regional-revenue redistribution, and they will even be forced to start building high-density, low-income housing.”
“The latter, of course, will require the elimination of single-family zoning. With that, the basic character of the suburbs will disappear.”

A prelude to this is already occurring in big cities such as Austin, Texas, in which single-family homes are being redeveloped into duplexes and quadplexes in neighborhoods near downtown.
This would also occur in the suburbs under Biden, Kurtz warns, because he wants to combine AFFH with the eradication of single-family zoning in suburbs under a strategy proposed by New Jersey Senator (and vegan) Cory Booker.
Basically, the Booker/Biden approach is more radical than what was proposed under the Obama administration.
That said, the AFFH rules still exist under the Trump administration because HUD Director Ben Carson never gotten rid of it.
“It will be very tough for President Trump to make a political issue out of Biden’s housing plans so long as his own cabinet secretary is talking about killing suburban single-family zoning with AFFH,” Kurtz lamented. “I think Carson’s wobbling on AFFH explains a lot about why Democrats have become so bold with their plans to undo suburban zoning.”
“If even the Trump administration goes along with federal attacks on suburban zoning, the Dems figure they’ve got political cover.”
