Munis No Longer HQLAs

Recently the Federal Reserve (The international bank that prints money out of thin air, and then charges full face value plus interest.) ruled that major banks can no longer count municipal assets as HQLA or High Quality Liquid Assets.  This is to be affective on January 2015.  So what does that mean?  It means that the major banks will be unloading municipal bonds also known as munis.

So why should you care?  Well that means that municipalities, counties, and states will have to pay higher interest rates on any bonds that it sells to raise money.  It also means that the corporate bonds will be able to sell corporate bonds at a lower interest rate.

Munis have always been regarded as safe investment.  Not anymore are they considered safe for the cards have been stacked against government, and in favor of the greedy corporate interest.  A corporation’s only responsibility is to its stock holders and NOT to its customers.  This change is not foolish by the Fed’s standards as they work to destroy the government, and facilitate the further privatization or should I say plunder and pillage of the peoples’ assets.

The tax base has dropped along with the numbers in the work force.  There is less money to spend while inflation marches on.  To make matters worse there are more on unemployment, welfare, food stamps, etc. which all add to the cost of government.  The disaster has already occurred in cities like Camden, Cleveland, Detroit, and many others.

The vulture capitalists are picking at the bones of the corpse that they created with the assistance of the Fed, the Democrats and the Republicans.  Yet they work hand in hand to bring in more undocumented aliens, which add the cost of government.  At the same time they continue to push the wages down.  Then they continue to push for more secret trade agreements, which are treaties.  But who plays by the rules?

We are well on our way to the total destruction of our Nation, our economy, and our Bill of Rights.  We are now a third world nation that has martial law waiting in the wings.

Our Nation wages illegal wars all over the world and interferes with the governments of many countries.  This is not for our safety, but for the wealth and power of the few.
