TEHRAN
(FNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali
Khamenei underlined his support for the government plan to increase the
gasoline prices, but meantime, called on officials to prevent its
impacts on other commodities' prices.
“Authorities
should use all their capacities to minimize people’s concerns over this
(gasoline rationing) plan,” Ayatollah Khamenei said on Sunday.
He cast support for government’s decision on
revising fuel’s prices, saying, "I am not an expert in this field, but I
had asserted before that I would back whatever decision the heads of
the three branches of power (legislative, judiciary, administrative)
take.”
Ayatollah Khamenei underlined the necessity of
meeting people’s demands in this regard, saying that officials should be
careful that the plan would not lead to the jump in the prices of the
other goods and commodities.
